Schedule: 1-3 days per week on-site at McLaren Thumb (Bad Axe, MI) + 1-2 days per week remote from McLaren Bay City, MI + PRN services for additional locations.
Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and qualified Part-Time Hybrid Clinical Dietitian to join our exceptional Nutrition Team. This role involves delivering inpatient clinical services through a combination of on-site and remote engagements across multiple facilities, contributing to our commitment to health and wellness.
Key Responsibilities
รย Deliver medical nutrition therapy, which includes conducting comprehensive nutrition assessments, modifying diets, providing nutrition education, and implementing interventions for patients.
รย Follow the guidelines established in the Company Diet Manual and Clinical Nutrition Policies & Procedures Manual.
รย Ensure compliance with all applicable regulatory standards, including federal, state, and accrediting agency requirements, while respecting patient confidentiality and HIPAA regulations.
รย Mentor and train patient services staff and interns as required.
รย Engage in patient satisfaction initiatives, departmental meetings, and facility-wide Quality Assurance/Performance Improvement programs.
Required Skills
รย Must be credentialed as a Registered Dietitian by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR).
รย Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and experience with electronic medical records & diet office systems.
รย Familiarity with nutrient analysis programming.
รย Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
Qualifications
รย Credentialed as a Registered Dietitian by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR).
รย Licensed by the State Dietetics Licensing/Credentialing Board where applicable.
รย Preferred: A minimum of one (1) year of experience in a hospital setting.
