About the Role:
We are looking for a skilled WordPress Developer with hands-on experience in platform maintenance, custom development, and site optimization. The role involves maintaining and improving WordPress websites hosted on Pantheon, ensuring the platform runs securely, and meeting all performance benchmarks.
Responsibilities:
• Perform regular maintenance and security updates for WordPress sites.
• Implement custom code for web pages, including landing page updates and backend improvements.
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers and other developers for cross-functional projects.
• Monitor site performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
• Work within the development timeframes to provide technical solutions within allocated hours (4 hours/month).
• Optimize sites for speed, security, and user experience.
Qualifications:
• Experience
: 3+ years of experience with WordPress and Pantheon.
• Skills
: Proficiency in PHP, HTML/CSS, JavaScript, WordPress theme and plugin development, and troubleshooting.
• Preferred
: Familiarity with web security best practices and site performance monitoring tools.
• Bonus
: Experience working with cloud hosting platforms like Pantheon.
