WordPress Developer & Web Designer
This is a remote position. We are looking for a WordPress Developer & Web Designer who can both create website designs and develop them in WordPress. This role requires a good visual sense, strong technical skills, and the ability to work closely with the design team to translate brand concepts into functional, high-quality websites. Key Responsibilities Design website layouts, wireframes, and page structures based on project requirements Develop and customize WordPress websites, themes, and templates Convert design files (Figma, Adobe XD, PSD) into responsive WordPress pages Collaborate with the design team to maintain brand consistency and design quality Assist the design team with website-related visuals, UI elements, and design adaptations Customize and manage WordPress plugins and page builders (Elementor, Gutenberg, etc.) Ensure websites are responsive, fast-loading, and SEO-friendly Perform website maintenance, updates, and troubleshooting Follow best practices for website security, performance, and scalability Requirements Required Skills & Qualifications 3+ years of experience in WordPress development and web design Strong skills in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and MySQL Hands-on experience with custom WordPress themes and plugins Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Photoshop, or Illustrator Solid understanding of UI/UX principles and responsive design Experience with popular page builders (Elementor, WPBakery, Gutenberg) Knowledge of SEO fundamentals and website performance optimization Preferred / Nice to Have Experience with WooCommerce Familiarity with Git/version control Basic knowledge of hosting environments and cPanel Experience working in an agency or multi-project environments Benefits Competitive salary based on experience Opportunity to work on creative and diverse web projects Collaborative environment with strong design leadership Growth and learning opportunities
