WordPress Developer — Full Site Redesign (AI-Assisted Workflow, Fixed Price)
About us:
Norfolk Kitchen & Bath is a family-owned kitchen and bath remodeling company in business since 1934, with six design showrooms across Massachusetts and New Hampshire. We're rebuilding our website from scratch and looking for the right developer to bring it to life.
What we already have:
We've done the groundwork. We have a fully designed HTML/CSS homepage prototype built with Claude, established brand colors and typography, all existing site content and photography, and a clear site map. You are not starting from a blank page — you're building from a strong foundation.
What we need built:
Convert our HTML/CSS prototype into a WordPress theme. We prefer a clean block theme without heavy page builders, but are open to discussion if you have a strong case for your approach.
Build approximately 15–20 page templates: homepage, 6 location pages, kitchen remodeling, bath remodeling, design process, inspiration gallery, meet the team, about, contractors, and contact
Mobile-responsive, fast-loading build optimized for Core Web Vitals
Clean CMS setup so our internal marketing team can manage content post-launch without a developer
Hosting migration (platform TBD) with 301 redirects to protect our existing SEO rankings
Brief training handoff for our team at launch
Who we're looking for:
Uses AI tools — Claude Code, Cursor, or similar — as an active part of your development workflow
Experience building WordPress sites for service businesses or multi-location brands
Strong communicator who can work directly with a small, non-technical marketing team
Honest about scope and timeline — no surprises
