WooCommerce Developer Needed to Finish Existing WoodMart Build (Staging Only, Micro-Milestones)

I’m looking for an experienced WordPress / WooCommerce developer with strong WoodMart theme experience to continue and complete an existing staging build. This is not a rebuild and not a theme change. A previous freelancer provided a full handoff (staging site + documentation), and the contract has ended. I’m now looking for someone reliable to finish the work cleanly and professionally. What’s already completed (handoff available): Malware removal and security cleanup (staging environment) WoodMart theme installed and configured with a child theme Homepage framework and layout restructuring Custom menu and footer implemented About page configured WooCommerce core pages created (Shop, Cart, Checkout, My Account) Product spreadsheet containing original catalog You will receive staging access and a Flexzenith Drive folder with all materials after hire. Remaining work to complete: Remove placeholder content (banners, testimonials, images) Review and clean up plugins (remove unused/outdated ones) Finalize homepage layout using WoodMart components Optimize category and product grid layouts Remove placeholder category pages Product migration (start with a small test batch before full import) Verify WooCommerce flow (cart → checkout → account) Website speed optimization after product import Project rules (non-negotiable): Staging site only (no live site access initially) WoodMart theme only (no theme changes) Work must be done using a child theme Micro-milestones with visible deliverables Payment released only after review Communication must stay inside Upwork Budget & milestones Total remaining budget: $1,200 Project starts with a paid test milestone ($100) Additional milestones released only after successful completion of the test To apply, please include: Confirmation that you have worked with the WoodMart theme before Links to 1–2 WooCommerce sites built with WoodMart that you personally worked on A brief outline of what you would complete in the first 48 hours Confirmation that you are comfortable with staging-only access and small milestones Generic proposals will be ignored.
