Wix Velo Developer Needed – Custom Assessment Tool with Scoring Logic
Job Description
I’m building a short Executive Assessment Tool for my website (Wix) and need a developer familiar with Wix Velo and Wix CMS to implement it.
The assessment identifies two results:
• Natural Capacity
• Compensation Capacity
These results are calculated from a set of ranking questions and multiple-choice questions.
I already have:
• the full question set
• scoring logic
• page flow
• UX mockups
• results page copy
• a developer handoff document
So the work is primarily implementation, not design or product development.
Assessment Structure
The assessment includes:
12 total questions
8 ranking questions
2 single-select questions
2 written response questions
The ranking questions will assign points to four categories:
• Stability
• Connection
• Creativity
• Clarity
The system then calculates:
Natural Capacity → based on questions 1–4
Compensation Capacity → based on questions 5–10
Results should be displayed automatically on a results page.
All responses must also be saved to Wix CMS so I can review them.
Required Features
• Multi-step assessment pages
• Ranking inputs (drag or dropdown ranking acceptable)
• Scoring logic implemented in Velo
• Save results and responses to Wix CMS
• Results page that displays calculated capacities
• Email notification to me when a new assessment is submitted
Optional but nice:
• confirmation email to the user
Design
The design should be clean, minimal, and professional.
Think:
• executive audience
• lots of whitespace
• simple UI
• calm color palette
No quiz-style visuals.
I will provide mockups and design direction.
What I Will Provide
You will receive a complete developer handoff pack, including:
• full assessment questions
• scoring logic
• CMS structure
• results page text
• pseudocode for the scoring system
• page flow diagram
Requirements
Please apply only if you:
• have experience with Wix Velo
• have built custom forms or assessments before
• are comfortable working with Wix CMS collections
Timeline
Ideally completed within 1–2 weeks.
Budget
Flexible depending on experience and implementation approach.
Please include examples of Wix/Velo projects if available.
