Wix Studio Developer Needed for Responsive Design Finalization
I'm a professional audiobook narrator building a portfolio site, and it's nearly done. The design, copy, graphics, audio samples, and overall layout are complete and locked in. There are no substantive creative decisions left to make, although I am interested in adding effects or visually interesting page transitions to make this site pop for casting directors. What I need now, more than anything else, is someone who can bring the tablet and mobile breakpoints across the finish line cleanly.
What the work involves:
The desktop version looks good, although I am open to minor layout tweaks. The tablet and mobile views need to be dialed in...elements repositioned, spacing corrected, and responsive behaviors cleaned up so everything feels intentional at every screen size. There's also a Featured Work section with interactive genre buttons, a multi-state box, and audio sample players that needs to behave correctly on mobile. Some Velo (JavaScript) code is already in place; you may need to refine or extend it slightly.
You're a great fit if you:
• Have hands-on experience with Wix Studio's responsive editor and breakpoint system
• Understand how Wix handles absolute positioning and why it fights back against CSS rewrites
• Are comfortable reading and writing Velo code (nothing complex — DOM manipulation, show/hide, basic positioning logic)
• Can work independently from a site that's already built with minimal back and-forth on design direction
• Communicate clearly and can give a realistic time estimate upfront
What you won't have to do:
• Design anything from scratch
• Write copy
• Source or edit audio or images
• Make creative decisions
This is a focused, well-scoped finishing job for someone who knows Wix Studio well. The creative heavy lifting is done. I just need a skilled pair of hands to make it pixel-tight on every device.
