Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Wireless Technician to join our team in Whitehall, Pennsylvania. As a Wireless Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing wireless communication equipment and networks. This is a hands-on role that requires a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. Key Responsibilities Install, maintain, and repair wireless communication equipment and networks, including cell sites, transmission equipment, and associated systems Perform routine maintenance and testing on wireless equipment and networks to ensure optimal performance Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, including faults, alarms, and customer complaints Operate and maintain electronic test equipment, measuring devices, meters, and hand tools Coordinate with other teams and organizations to clear troubles and resolve technical issues Provide instruction, assistance, and guidance to other technicians as required Perform network surveillance and emergency response as necessary, including after-hours projects, on-call duty, and overtime Drive a company vehicle to complete job assignments Maintain accurate records and logs of work performed, including reports and postings Essential Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree or certification preferred 2+ years of experience in a technical field, such as telecommunications, electronics, or a related field Strong technical knowledge of wireless communication systems, including cell sites, transmission equipment, and associated systems Experience with electronic test equipment, measuring devices, meters, and hand tools Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills Ability to work independently with minimal guidance or assistance Strong communication and interpersonal skills Physical ability to lift up to 60 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment Preferred Qualifications Technical certification in a relevant field, such as telecommunications or electronics Experience with wireless communication systems, including cell sites, transmission equipment, and associated systems Knowledge of safety practices and procedures Experience with computer systems and software applications Skills and Competencies Technical skills: wireless communication systems, electronic test equipment, measuring devices, meters, and hand tools Analytical skills: problem-solving, troubleshooting, and analytical skills Communication skills: excellent verbal and written communication skills Interpersonal skills: ability to work independently and as part of a team Adaptability: ability to adapt to changing priorities and work environments Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At AT&T, we are committed to providing our employees with opportunities for career growth and development.
