Windows/Linux Systems Administrator - Onsite McKinney, TX - Secret Clearance Required

We are currently seeking a Systems Administrator that will be working in a highly collaborative, multi-platform and multi-disciplined environment. The Systems Administrator is required to have an active secret security clearance as they will be responsible for deploying and maintaining classified IT infrastructures. The candidate's day-to-day activities include but are not limited to Windows or Linux server management; storage management; file server management; access management; data backup; software and license configuration; and workstation support. Each day in the life of a Systems Administrator can bring something new - building a new IT infrastructure for a group of engineers, restoring files due to an outage, updating virus definitions and security patches, teaming with our brilliant engineers on how to improve their processes, and more. Responsibilities
Β Provide System Administration in a heterogeneous Microsoft Windows and RedHat Enterprise Linux environment.

Β Apply understanding and knowledge of Windows Server internals including DNS, DHCP, AD, and Linux integration methods.
,
Β Work as a team member in a fast-paced technological environment.
,
Β Use troubleshooting techniques to resolve technical problems of moderate to high scope and complexity, including the integration of hardware and operating systems.
,
Β Apply understanding of data RAID, data backup uses and technologies.
,
Β Install and configure software applications requested by end users.
,
Β Work with Cybersecurity professionals to maintain security requirements.
,
Β Provide weekend and after-hours support as required.
Requirements
Β Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field.

Β Active and transferable U.S. government issued Secret security clearance is required prior to start date.
,
Β Experience with Windows and/or Linux/Unix server and workstations.
,
Β Experience using VMware vCenter, vSphere, VDI (Horizon), and ESX and/or other virtual computing methods.

Β Experience with security infrastructure products and capabilities.
