We are currently seeking a Systems Administrator that will be working in a highly collaborative, multi-platform and multi-disciplined environment. The Systems Administrator is required to have an active secret security clearance as they will be responsible for deploying and maintaining classified IT infrastructures. The candidate's day-to-day activities include but are not limited to Windows or Linux server management; storage management; file server management; access management; data backup; software and license configuration; and workstation support. Each day in the life of a Systems Administrator can bring something new - building a new IT infrastructure for a group of engineers, restoring files due to an outage, updating virus definitions and security patches, teaming with our brilliant engineers on how to improve their processes, and more. Responsibilities
Β• Provide System Administration in a heterogeneous Microsoft Windows and RedHat Enterprise Linux environment.

Β• Apply understanding and knowledge of Windows Server internals including DNS, DHCP, AD, and Linux integration methods.
,
Β• Work as a team member in a fast-paced technological environment.
,
Β• Use troubleshooting techniques to resolve technical problems of moderate to high scope and complexity, including the integration of hardware and operating systems.
,
Β• Apply understanding of data RAID, data backup uses and technologies.
,
Β• Install and configure software applications requested by end users.
,
Β• Work with Cybersecurity professionals to maintain security requirements.
,
Β• Provide weekend and after-hours support as required.

Requirements
Β• Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field.

Β• Active and transferable U.S. government issued Secret security clearance is required prior to start date.
,
Β• Experience with Windows and/or Linux/Unix server and workstations.
,
Β• Experience using VMware vCenter, vSphere, VDI (Horizon), and ESX and/or other virtual computing methods.
,
Β• Experience with security infrastructure products and capabilities.

Nice-to-haves
Β• An active DoD Top Secret clearance

Β• Experience with NetApp
,
Β• Experience with Windows architecture, deployment, administration, performance monitoring/tuning, security hardening, and troubleshooting.

Β• Experience with infrastructure backup, restore, disaster recovery and business continuity products.

Β• Experience with application installation and multi-server environment/deployment.

Β• Scripting Experience (PowerShell, Ansible, Python)
,
Β• Experience hardening systems using tools like SCAP and following STIGs.

Β• Experience supporting engineers in software, simulations, and hardware development.
