About the position

The Institutional Credit Management Risk Analysis Unit (IRAUs) is a key component of the Institutional Credit Management (ICM) organization, tasked with delivering top-tier credit risk analysis and monitoring. The Credit Risk Associate role involves managing a portfolio of large corporate relationships, conducting credit risk analysis, and ensuring the ongoing monitoring of these relationships. This includes producing various reports and collaborating with industry stakeholders to maintain credit assessment standards.

Responsibilities
• Assess the credit and financial strength of Citi's clients through fundamental credit analysis using quantitative and qualitative factors.

• Complete Credit Analysis Write-up Memos and Final Obligor Risk Ratings based on independent assessments and due diligence.
,
• Continuously monitor the covered portfolio, tracking industry trends and escalating potential credit issues to relevant teams.
,
• Review and provide recommendations on risk ratings across the sector.
,
• Partner with industry stakeholders to implement credit assessment and monitoring standards.
,
• Support ICM Risk Analysis Voice of the Employee (VOE) initiatives.

Requirements
• 3-5 years of credit experience in Banking, Credit Risk Management, or equivalent.

• Strong knowledge of Wholesale Credit Processes and organizational awareness, including IRAU functions.
,
• Sound understanding of policies and procedures with the ability to execute change seamlessly.
,
• Well-developed analytical skills, including understanding key financial components and recognizing emerging risks.
,
• Experience in preparing presentations for senior management.
,
• Full awareness and adherence to the control environment, including Quality Assurance and Quality Control.
