Role and Responsibilities : As a Team Member at Wendy's, you'll work in one of three exciting positions: Cashier (Customer Service & Register), Grill (Quality & Production), or Sandwich Production (Quality & Assembly). Each role is fast-paced and exciting, helping our restaurant serve customers fresh, quality products every single day. You'll interact with customers, work as part of a team, maintain our high standards for quality and cleanliness, and have opportunities to grow into leadership roles. Key responsibilities include: Greet each customer with a warm, friendly welcome and a smile. Be great at multi-tasking and never wait to be told what to do. Learn quickly and understand what it takes to get the job done properly. Be willing to learn new ways of doing things while helping others along the way. Interact with customers in a friendly, pleasant, and upbeat manner. Be punctual, attentive to detail, friendly, and always be honest. Maintain a neat, clean appearance at all times. Follow all food safety procedures to ensure product quality. Maintain a safe working condition for yourself and team members. Anticipate and identify problems and help find solutions. Follow the direction of the Shift Supervisor and/or Wendy's manager. Take orders, operate cash registers, or prepare food depending on your assigned position. Maintain cleanliness and organization of work stations. Work as part of a team to ensure smooth operations during all shifts. Required Skills and Experience : Must be at least 16 years old (15 years minimum age in some locations). Fluent English-speaking skills. Willingness to work on your feet for extended periods. Able to lift up to 35 pounds to waist level. Willing to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays. Dependability and reliability with timely arrival for scheduled shifts. Good personal appearance and hygiene. A positive attitude and smiling demeanor. No cell phones while working. Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks and responsibilities. Preferred Qualifications : Previous food service or customer service experience. Experience working in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
