We're seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Part-Time Distribution Supply Planner to join our team, working remotely on weekends to ensure seamless supply chain operations. As a critical member of our logistics team, you will play a vital role in monitoring inventory levels, tracking shipments, and resolving supply-related issues to guarantee the availability of supplies to our distribution centers.
Role Overview
Location: Remote work arrangement
Start Date: Immediate openings available
Position: Part-Time Distribution Supply Planner - Weekend Shift (Saturdays and Sundays, 8 AM - 5 PM)

Key Responsibilities
Monitor and analyze inventory levels to ensure adequate supply to distribution centers over the weekend
Track purchase orders from suppliers to receipt at distribution centers, identifying potential issues and taking corrective action
Review critical items and determine if immediate action is required to prevent supply chain disruptions
Facilitate transfers between distribution centers to address inventory issues and optimize supply chain efficiency
Resolve product and transportation issues in a timely and effective manner
Modify purchase orders as necessary and create new ones on an exception basis to meet changing supply needs
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless communication and alignment
Requirements
High school diploma or GED required
Knowledge of supply chain principles, including lead times, purchasing minimums, and safety stock
Understanding of inventory management practices and definitions (e.g., safety stock, days of supply, carrying costs)
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency in Microsoft Suite and excellent task prioritization, follow-up, and customer service skills
Nice-to-Haves
Pursuing a bachelor's degree in supply chain, finance, business, statistics, mathematics, or a related field
Experience working in a retail or restaurant supply chain environment
Familiarity with J.D. Edwards, JDA, and PowerBI
Supply Chain/Logistics Certification (CSCMP or APICS)
