Job Description

Are you a highly analytical and results-oriented digital marketing professional with a proven track record in optimizing online user journeys and maximizing conversion rates? Econet Wireless, a leader in telecommunications and digital services across Zimbabwe, is seeking an experienced and innovative Website Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) Manager to join our dynamic and fully remote team. As our Website CRO Manager, you will be instrumental in leading our efforts to transform data insights into actionable strategies that boost key conversion metrics across all our digital properties, including our main corporate website, e-commerce portals, and service activation pages. Your primary mission will be to meticulously analyze user behavior, identify friction points in the user journey, and design, implement, and manage A/B tests and other experimentation frameworks to optimize our online funnels. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including marketing, product development, UX/UI design, and analytics to ensure a cohesive and impactful approach to website optimization.

This role demands a proactive problem-solver who thrives on dissecting complex data sets to uncover opportunities for improvement. You will be responsible for setting up robust tracking mechanisms, conducting comprehensive qualitative and quantitative research, and developing compelling hypotheses for testing. Key Responsibilities
• Develop and execute a comprehensive CRO strategy across all Econet Wireless digital properties to maximize conversions and improve user experience.
• Conduct in-depth quantitative analysis using tools like Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, or similar platforms to identify performance bottlenecks and opportunities.
• Perform qualitative research through user surveys, heatmaps, session recordings, and user interviews to understand user behavior and motivations.
• Formulate strong hypotheses based on data and insights, designing and implementing A/B, multivariate, and split tests.
• Manage the end-to-end testing process, including test setup, monitoring, analysis of results, and reporting on key findings and recommendations.
• Collaborate closely with UX/UI designers, product managers, developers, and marketing teams to implement winning test variations and incorporate optimization best practices.
• Create and maintain detailed documentation of all tests, results, and implemented changes.
• Monitor industry trends and emerging technologies in CRO, digital marketing, and user experience to ensure our strategies remain cutting-edge.
• Present findings and strategic recommendations to senior management and cross-functional teams.
• Ensure all optimization efforts align with brand guidelines and overall business objectives.

Required Skills
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) or a related digital analytics role.
• Proficiency with A/B testing platforms (e.g., Optimizely, VWO, Google Optimize, Adobe Target).
• Expert-level knowledge of web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics 4, Adobe Analytics).
