Web QA Specialist

The Role GrowthAssistant is looking for a Web QA Specialist to help us keep our partner websites reliable, functional, and user-friendly. You’ll work with automation (primarily Playwright) and manual testing to ensure everything runs smoothly—from form submissions to website launches. Here’s what you’ll enjoy: Paid Time Off & Holidays Off Health Card Coverage Referral Incentives & Perfect Attendance Rewards Parental Leave Benefits A supportive, collaborative team that values growth and learning Competitive salary for up to 100k/mo depending on experience and skill set What You’ll Do Run and maintain Playwright automation scripts for partner websites Write/update scripts for new requirements (e.g., checking links, forms, text updates) Perform manual QA for desktop and mobile (layouts, navigation, forms) Support migrations and new builds by validating features pre- and post-launch Track bugs, issues, and test results in Asana (or other tools) Collaborate with the dev team to ensure compliance and uptime Use GitHub for pulling, reviewing, and deploying QA scripts What We’re Looking For 2+ years of QA experience (automation preferred) Hands-on experience with Playwright or similar (Selenium, Cypress, TestCafe, etc.) Basic JavaScript/TypeScript skills (or eagerness to learn) Strong eye for detail in spotting UI/UX issues and bugs Familiarity with GitHub (repos, scripts, version control) Clear written communication for documentation and bug reporting Bonus Skills (Nice to Have) Playwright expertise Experience in website migrations Work in regulated industries (insurance, healthcare, etc.) Familiarity with Agile tools (Asana, Jira, Trello) Exposure to CI/CD workflows and accessibility testing Future Growth You’ll have the chance to: Take ownership of automation coverage across multiple websites Build advanced regression test suites Shape preventative QA strategies Bridge communication between QA and dev teams Help standardize QA documentation and best practices Experience Requirements Mid Level
