Web Developer/Engineer (Senior) Remote / Telecommute Jobs

Job Title: Senior Web Developer / Engineer Location: Remote / Offsite Employment Type: Full-Time (Contingent Upon Contract Award) Position Overview Nationwide IT Services (NIS) is seeking a Senior Web Developer/Engineer for a potential opportunity to support the development and modernization of client-server and web-based applications. This role is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-end web applications, web pages, and user interfaces, as well as porting legacy applications to modern web environments. The ideal candidate is highly self-motivated, technically strong, and comfortable interfacing directly with customers to gather and refine requirements. Key Responsibilities • Design, develop, test, and maintain high-end client-server and web-based applications • Develop and maintain web pages and user interfaces • Port existing applications to web-based platforms • Utilize web technologies such as HTML, XML, Perl, Apache, and related tools • Interface with clients to gather, analyze, and document technical requirements • Provide technical recommendations and support application enhancements • Work independently with minimal supervision while meeting project deadlines. Minimum Qualifications • Minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience in scripting, software development, and web page design and development • At least five (5) years of hands-on web and software development experience at the senior level • Strong customer relationship and communication skills • Ability to work independently without direct supervision. Preferred Qualifications • Experience supporting Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) programs • Experience with tools such as FrontPage, Dreamweaver, or comparable web development applications Education • Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field Security Clearance Requirements • Must possess an IT-II security clearance or have a current National Agency Check with Local Agency Check and Credit Check (NACLC) at the time of proposal submission About Nationwide IT Services Nationwide IT Services (NIS) is an IT and Management Consulting company and a CVE-verified Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB).
