Low Down:
ā¢ Be a thought partner, have ideas to share with the team
ā¢ Double checker of work. (You dont pass off something off until you have checked it.)
ā¢ Team minded. You like working collaboratively and not in a black box
ā¢ Build New Sites from Scracth or one-off edits and maintenance
ā¢ Could be 5 - 10 hours a week | Please have other contract clients
ā¢ Take our designs from FIGMA
ā¢ Expert in Elementor
ā¢ Create Wordpress Website with Elementor builder
ā¢ Make design edits to suit our vision
ā¢ Be a website launch specialist, love DNS, etc.
Key Responsibilities:
ā¢ Work in click-up
ā¢ Lead WordPress development projects, including strategic planning and implementation of Custom Post Types
ā¢ Enhance website performance and ensure accessibility compliance
ā¢ Develop custom JavaScript solutions for UI elements and advanced functionalities
ā¢ Create integrations with third-party APIs and implement custom search features
ā¢ Manage data migrations for large-scale website projects
ā¢ Provide technical support and mentorship to team members
ā¢ Troubleshoot complex issues related to hosting, DNS, and security
ā¢ Research and recommend new technologies to improve our development processes
Ideal Candidate Profile:
ā¢ 7-10+ years of experience in website development and management
ā¢ Expert-level knowledge of WordPress, including its technical intricacies
ā¢ Strong proficiency in PHP, JavaScript, CSS, and modern web frameworks
ā¢ Experience with version control (Git) and deployment processes
ā¢ Familiarity with MySQL, Docker, and web services
ā¢ Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
ā¢ Ability to simplify complex technical concepts for diverse audiences
ā¢ Proactive approach to project management and client expectations
ā¢ Adaptability to changing priorities and eagerness to learn new technologies
ā¢ Commitment to producing high-quality work and maintaining coding standards
ā¢ Experience with (or willingness to learn) Elementor
