Remote.Job Responsibilities:Enable and configure site-specific metadata for marketing websites:Use and maintain Robots.txt to manage URLs and disallow un-necessary URLs.Use permanent redirects (301s) to preserve page equity when migrating URLs.Use 404s to indicate when Google should no longer index and rank a page.Provide the right URLs to discover via: Accurate XML sitemaps, Internal URLs which are accessible (not 404s), HreflangCanonicalizing URLs to de-dupe for Google indexing Site-specific monitoring, alerting, triaging, and actioning: 404/500 errors, site performance, and speed metricsEnable/configure SSR, when appropriate, to optimize for crawler performancePartner with product & engineering to build and utilize internal tools to maximize SEODevelop SEO optimized HTML/XML and contentSkills:Web Developer with 5-7 years of experience in technical SEO, including site performance, metrics, accessibility, sitemaps, structured data, and tooling. Strong web dev experience not just SEO Manager. SEO expert with experience writing custom codeStrong understanding of technical SEO. 50/50 of SEO and front end coding.HTML, Javascript and CSSEducation/Experience:Computer Science / Engineering degree.#J-18808-Ljbffr
