We’re looking for driven, entrepreneurial professionals as Freight Broker Agents on a 1099 independent contractor basis. If you thrive in a performance-based environment and want the freedom to manage your own book of business, this opportunity is for you.
As a 1099 contractor, you’ll have the flexibility to build your own schedule and customer base, while leveraging our platform, support, and carrier network. You’ll be responsible for developing new freight opportunities, managing shipments from start to finish, and delivering excellent service to shippers and carriers.
What You’ll Do:
• Build and manage your own portfolio of shipping clients and carrier partners
• Prospect and secure new freight opportunities
• Negotiate competitive rates and manage spot pricing
• Oversee full-cycle shipment execution—from quoting and booking to tracking and issue resolution
• Ensure compliance with customer service expectations and communication standards
What You’ll Need:
• 2+ years of freight brokerage or logistics experience preferred
• Strong book of business or proven ability to develop new accounts
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
• Experience with TMS and Microsoft Office tools
• Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently
