Warehouse Worker

Position Summary:The Warehouse Worker is responsible for performing a variety of tasks to support warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and shipping products. This role ensures the efficient handling of materials, maintains inventory accuracy, and upholds safety and quality standards in the warehouse environment.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Loads raw material or finished product on skid or hand truck.Preserves a safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area and workstations neat. Uses tools such as hammers and crowbars to remove strapping and open crates/boxes. Assists with product repair.Reports defective materials or questionable conditions to the work area supervisor. Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition. Follows prescribed safety regulations and complies with all Company and OSHA Safety and Health rules. Proactively works to assist others in achieving the organizations objectives. Strap and secure goods to pallet.Receives, inspects, and sorts new inventory with RF scanner.Operates, monitors, and troubleshoots a stretch wrap machine.Required Qualifications:Ability to be flexible and adapt to change. Excellent verbal communication skills. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Good math and written communication skills. Efficient time management skills. Ability to thrive in a team environment. Knowledge of basic manufacturing, warehousing, or shipping operations required. High school diploma or equivalent required. At least two years of related experience required. Scan gun experience a plus.Physical Demands:Must be able to lift up to 55 pounds at a time. Must be able to stand for prolonged periods of time.
