Responsibilities:

An individual is expected to perform their obligations and tasks, with or without accommodation.
• Streamlining the process of selecting and receiving incoming inventory to efficiently fulfill store requests.
• Procedures for product handling are observed while moving merchandise around the warehouse.
• Systematically loads and arranges items to be shipped, planning their placement ahead of time, and also unloads deliveries from trucks or back-hauls.
• Performs cleaning activities to maintain the neatness and cleanliness of the warehouse, maximizing the utilization of space and resources.
• Adheres to protocol by conducting inventory counts of warehouse items.
• Through consistent communication and information sharing, this individual fosters positive relationships with their peers, suppliers, and warehouse leaders.
• Offers constructive criticism and advice for optimizing warehouse operations.
• Examines products, discusses with the management team about product quality, safety considerations, and sanitation issues.
• Demonstrates autonomy and self-governance when making decisions and carrying out responsibilities.
• Assists in fulfilling the predetermined financial objectives of warehouse management.
• Attends to all designated obligations with precision, efficacy, and accordance with company protocols and procedures.
• Abides by the established protocols for implementing the ergonomic program.
• Ensures compliance with safety guidelines when operating machinery to perform necessary tasks.
• Informs management of any potential issues concerning product quality, safety risks, and sanitation concerns that need addressing.
• Extra duties as directed.

Education and Experience:

The ideal candidate must have a High School Diploma or an equivalent degree or certification.

Physical Requirements:
• The job often involves repeatedly moving and positioning items weighing up to 45 pounds onto pallets situated at various heights.
• Continuously move goods from storage and package merchandise for delivery to stores.
• To be an effective warehouse worker, you must be physically fit and capable of performing tasks like sitting, standing, bending, reaching, gripping, pushing, pulling, lifting, carrying, and walking on a regular basis.
• Working in this occupation expects one to be comfortable, regardless of the temperature changes, whether hot or cold, both outdoors and in refrigerator and freezer working conditions.
• Safe and accurate handling of powered industrial equipment is a crucial proficiency.
