Warehouse Order Selector

Dollar Tree is recruiting Warehouse Order Selector to facilitate the movement of products within the distribution center. As a key part of our team, you will help align with the company's commitment to on-time deliveries and successful retail operations.
Role and Responsibilities
In this role, you will be responsible for loading, unloading, and moving merchandise while maintaining accuracy and safety. You will support various distribution center operations, adapting to different tasks and departments as needed. Your key responsibilities include:
• Efficiently and securely load and unload merchandise.
• Inspect, corroborate, and audit goods, entering data into portable devices to ensure order precision and state examination.
• Arrange and categorize merchandise for efficient movement within the warehouse, ensuring proper labeling and packaging.
• Manage merchandise using power lift equipment for movement and storage.
• Refill pick areas according to information provided in system reports and requests.
• Handle merchandise orders by selecting and transferring items to conveyors, pallets, or containers.
• Place merchandise onto trailers, scanning items as needed to ensure accuracy.
• Verify the correctness, condition, and accurate loading of shipments on their designated trailers.
• Execute basic housekeeping tasks to uphold cleanliness and safety within the workplace.
• Be willing to adjust to various duties and departmental rotations to accommodate the changing demands of the distribution center.
Required Skills and Experience
• A high school diploma or its equivalent is a fundamental requirement.
• Competency in securely handling loads up to 70 pounds.
• Flexibility in adapting to alterations in job responsibilities and departmental assignments is necessary.
• Candidates with prior warehouse or distribution background are preferred.
