JOB SUMMARY
Work in Pollak Foods warehouse and be a crucial member of the foodservice supply chain. Warehouse Selectors pick orders for delivery to foodservice venues in the local community.
ā¢ Active, physical role that includes operating an electric pallet jack, and/or forklift
ā¢ Organizing and palletizing product to build customer orders
ā¢ Other duties as assigned.
Safe working environment, working in areas with temperature and humidity variations based on local weather conditions and type of product being selected (i.e., non-refrigerated, refrigerated, and frozen.)
Minimum Requirements
ā¢ Must be at least 18 years of age.
ā¢ 1 ā 2 Year relevant work experience.
ā¢ Frequently lift product that weighs 25lb - 50lbs and up to 80lbs.
ā¢ Frequently reach up to 66 inches.
ā¢ Constantly bend and twist while operating an electric pallet jack or forklift, retrieving products from lower shelf areas.
ā¢ Work in very extreme temperatures (cooler and/or freezer).
ā¢ Work on your feet for 8 ā 10 hours daily.
Preferred Requirements
ā¢ 1 year experience operating an electric pallet jack or forklift.
ā¢ 2 year of warehouse job experience.
ā¢ 2 year Selection Experience.
