Warehouse / Inventory Manager (Entry Level Management)
Responsibilities:
• Provide inbound customer support
• Answer inbound customer e-mail communication
• Ship orders
• Organize and maintain inventory
• Assist customers via inbound telephone support
We are searching for an individual that is or recently has been working in a warehouse / shipping role that has the drive to take on a greater challenge and more responsibility. This is a new position within our company that has previously been managed through multiple departments. This position will be responsible for accurate and complete information to the accounting department, shipping staff, operations management and sales staff.
Job duties will include:
• Keeping an accurate count of inventory.
• Placing purchase orders.
• Updating and maintaining analysis of our inventory forecasting projections.
• Receiving inbound shipments and restocking shelves.
• Maintaining shelving numbers and matching bin locations in accounting system.
• Keeping sales staff up to date on back orders and arrival of back ordered items.
• Oversee the shipping staff to ensure accurate shipments and fast pace.
• Restock primary inventory warehouse from secondary warehousing.
Requirements of applicant:
• Fork lift certification a plus
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Night and weekend flexibility
• Familiarity with Quick Books a plus
• Can work on tablet and computer proficiently
• Can spend majority of day on feet.
