Responsibilities:

Regardless of reasonable accommodations, tasks and responsibilities must be carried out.
• Effectively managing the reception and selection of incoming stock to fulfill retail orders.
• Warehouse staff follows specific product handling procedures to relocate merchandise.
• Methodically prepares merchandise for dispatch by organizing and classifying them, and receives incoming shipments from trucks or back-hauls by unloading them.
• Undertakes cleaning tasks in compliance with warehouse cleanliness norms and guidelines, aiming to maintain a tidy and hazard-free working environment.
• Performs inventory checks of warehouses in accordance with established procedures.
• The ability to interact and cooperate with peers, suppliers, and warehouse leadership is highly valued by this individual, who ensures communication is ongoing.
• Presents insights to warehouse management on improving logistics procedures.
• Assesses products, confers with warehouse executives on commodity quality, safety apprehensions, and sanitation matters.
• Utilizes individual discretion and decision-making skills to fulfill job duties within the assigned area of responsibility.
• Facilitates the achievement of budgeted objectives for warehouse management.
• Undertakes all assigned responsibilities with accuracy, effectiveness, and adherence to established company policies and standards.
• Abides by the established protocols for implementing the ergonomic program.
• Adheres to safety regulations when operating equipment to carry out critical duties.
• Reports any problems related to product quality, safety concerns, and sanitation issues to the responsible management team.

Education and Experience:

Candidates with a High School Diploma or a corresponding educational background will be given preference for this role.

Physical Requirements:
• It is common for individuals to regularly move and position items that weigh up to 45 pounds onto pallets located at different elevations.
• Regularly relocate inventory from warehouse shelves and package products for dispatch to stores.
• Warehouse employees must be able to carry out tasks such as sitting, standing, bending, reaching, gripping, pushing, pulling, lifting, carrying, and walking frequently.
• The job necessitates working under constantly changing temperatures, from high heat to extremely low freezing conditions, both inside and outside, as well as in refrigeration and freezer atmospheres.
• The expertise to operate powered industrial equipment safely and correctly is indispensable.
