Position Summary
Since 1969, our factory has been a cornerstone just eight miles west of Harrisburg. Situated at a transportation crossroads, it offers quick access to major cities like Baltimore, Boston, and New York. As one of the largest manufacturers in the area, we produce a wide range of dry pet food, including beloved brands like Puppy Chow?, Pro Plan?, and Friskies?. Beyond our work, we support local animal shelters, enriching the lives of pets everywhere. We're also doing our part to care for the environment we share, like conserving water, investing in renewable electricity and maintaining zero waste for disposal. This position will be an Off Shift.
As the Warehouse Coordinator, you will be a key member of the warehouse team and will keep activities running smoothly and effectively. You will maintain the daily shipping and production schedule by ensuring all administrative requirements are controlled in accordance with established policies and procedures. In this role, you must be willing to work all shifts to support continuous operations of the warehouse. You will also fill in for shift supervisors in the warehouse as necessary.
? Coordinate shift shipping activities at the plant.
? Perform all clerical duties directly related to warehouse activity.
? Check drivers in and out, while aiding loaders in locating product.
? Prepare and maintain productivity reports, shipping documents, pick/load slips and various other shipping office paperwork.
? Coordinate movement of trailers and assist with the utilization of Intermodal equipment to avoid demurrage costs.
? Assist with the transfer of products between factory and outside storage.
? Assist with the coordination of product returns and assisting the Warehouse Team Leader as needed.
Requirements
? High School Diploma or GED required
? 6 months of warehouse coordinating experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, transportation, or military environment.
The'approximate pay'range for this position is $40,000 to $55,000.?Please note that the'pay range'provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities as well as geographic location.
