Our courses may be tech-enabled, but we're ultimately human-centric: each student taps into a vast community throughout their time with us, engaging with fellow students, industry-expert mentors, student advisors, and career coaches, the goal of which is to successfully transition students into their dream job. Through this hybrid approach, we’ve helped thousands of learners revamp their careers and, by extension, their lives, with hundreds of top-notch job offers received every year and a near-perfect placement rate for our program graduates. The Opportunity: We are constantly testing new ways to offer a better learning experience to our students, and be better partners to our mentors. To date, students were able to schedule an unlimited number of calls with career coaches to discuss job search strategies - we are now offering this same approach with post-completion mentor calls to help students navigate the job landscape. Students will still be paired with a single mentor who will meet with them once every two weeks and support them on their job hunt. Specifically, we’re targeting mentors who have experience with hiring in their field. Students will choose an available time slot for the call and be paired, for a single call every two weeks, with their assigned mentor. Students have a max quota allowance of one mentor call per every 2 weeks. Expectations: Suggestion (not required) availability for at least 5 hours on average per week High degree of familiarity with the entire course curriculum Have empathy for students who are struggling Demonstrate excellent communication skills Support people with the technical aspects of job search Experience on a hiring team or as a hiring manager Compensation: Post Completion Mentors are compensated per call Any calls cancelled or rescheduled less than 24 hours in advance will still be paid We will count your regular mentor calls at the end of each month and add your payment to your normal honorarium distribution We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company.
