VP of Product (AI-First B2B SaaS | Developer-Focused Products) (Remote)
We are seeking a hands-on Vice President of Product to lead and scale the product organization during a critical growth phase. This role is central to shaping product strategy, building a scalable operating model, and embedding AI-first, customer-centric thinking across the company. The organization is a high-growth B2B SaaS company at Series B stage with $100M+ ARR, transitioning from founder-led product leadership to a mature, expert-led structure. The VP of Product will take ownership of the product function, drive execution, and ensure innovation and developer experience remain core as the company scales.

Key Responsibilities
β’ Product Leadership & Strategy
β’ Own end-to-end product vision and execution for a portfolio of developer tools and technical products
β’ Position the company as AI-first, ensuring AI capabilities are thoughtfully embedded into roadmap and strategy
β’ Partner with executive leadership to scale product expertise across the organization
β’ Team Leadership & Structure
β’ Lead and develop 4 Product Managers (growing to 5) and 2β3 Designers
β’ Manage 6β10 direct reports
β’ Establish clear operating rhythms, supervision processes, and decision frameworks
β’ Build a strong communication structure within the product team and across functions
β’ Hands-On Product Ownership
β’ Engage directly with customers to validate needs and guide prioritization
β’ Learn the product deeply before delegating
β’ Partner closely with engineering to ensure technical feasibility and scalability
β’ Maintain balance between strategic leadership and operational execution
β’ Cross-Functional Collaboration
β’ Work closely with Engineering, Solutions Engineering, Sales, and Marketing
β’ Ensure strong alignment between product, customer needs, and market positioning
β’ Improve speed and quality of product decision-making at scale
Required Qualifications
β’ Strong technical background in software engineering
β’ Proven experience building and scaling developer tools or developer-focused products
β’ Experience in high-growth B2B SaaS environments (ideally at or beyond $100M ARR)
β’ Prior leadership experience managing 6β10 direct reports
β’ Demonstrated hands-on operator mindset
β’ Comfortable working across time zones with occasional early-morning meetings
β’ Willingness to travel 8β10 weeks per year
β’ Without a strong technical foundation, developer-product experience, and leadership at scale, candidates should not proceed.
