Role Overview

As the VP of Alliances (Business Development / Partnership Management), you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing our business vision by establishing and nurturing the connections that we make throughout the music industry for our platform. This executive position is designed for motivated and experienced people with an enhanced knowledge of the music entertainment industry. This is an equity-only position until investor funding is secured for the startup.

There will be an immediate opportunity to make commission from deals that you close so the bigger the deal, the more that you can make starting on day one of you working with us.

Company Description

ZobeLab is a music technology app and software that serves as a comprehensive solution for independent music artists, producers, record labels, and the entire industry. Our platform caters to both emerging artists and independent labels, offering tools for solo artists or multiple artists under a label or management company. ZobeLab is designed to help indie talents manage and enhance their music careers on a daily basis.

We are currently in development for our tech app and we are now focused on getting people signed up onto our waitlist, establishing partnerships with music companies, and we will soon be launching our MVP to the market and start obtaining sales and customers within our platform for our Ai-driven EdTech music application which will provide education for the independent music community.

Role Description

This is a contract remote role for a VP of Alliances (Business Development / Partnership Management), at ZobeLab. This role will be responsible for business development, forming partnerships, managing accounts, investor relations, acquiring advertisers for our platform, and fostering strategic partnerships to support the growth and success of independent music artists, music talent professionals, and labels. Identifying and establishing key partnerships with music educators, music labels, producers, DJs, music supervisors, festivals, concert/showcase promoters, other industry professionals, advertisers, and potential sponsors.

This person will also be responsible for securing affiliate marketing deals. Reaching out to brands, artists, institutions, music companies, and music professionals for partnerships, licensing deals, or sponsorships. All candidates should have reliable internet, video-call, and telephone services for communication as this is a remote opportunity (virtual/telework).

This is an immediate opening. Your job will be to initiate contact, follow-up, and lock in an interest in our new music platform and establish a partnership by obtaining first a letter of intent (LOI) and non-disclosure agreement (NDA), then establishing partnership in a meeting, a contract completed afterwards, and partners are able to sign-in to the platform and create their accounts next. Constant follow-ups, meetings, account management, and business development are recommended in order to ensure steady orders from clients within the platform and establishing new partnerships who will offer opportunities to the clients within the platform.

This is a full-time role (that may be able to start off as fractional until investor funded) with a flexible schedule that you could take advantage of. You must be serious and dedicated. You will be contributing to the growth and scaling of the business so definitely prepare to roll up your sleeves and jump straight into the position immediately.

You will work closely with our Chief Sales Officer, Chief Marketing Officer, and Chief Executive Officer while reporting directly to the CSO.
