The Vice President, Human Resources Business Partner (VP, HRBP) is responsible for aligning business goals with employees and management. The The Vice President, Human Resources Business Partner (VP, HRBP) is responsible for aligning business goals with employees and management. The VP, HRBP should anticipate HR needs and communicate these requirements and potential solutions to the management team. This VP, HRBP is the HR point of contact for management and employees for their assigned Business Units and must be able to provide Human Resources guidance while balancing business priorities. This role should have a successful generalist background and be adept at developing consensus across all levels of the organization to build solid working relationships and to effect change.

Essential Job Functions:

Act as HRBP in an HR enterprise environment supporting key HR functions that include employee relations, talent acquisition, talent management, learning & leadership development and compliance

Consult and partner with management at all levels on people initiatives

Recommend policies and procedures regarding employee relations, internal communications, employee morale and retention programs, HR compliance and procedures, benefits, employee selection, and performance evaluation

Assist in the development and administration of annual performance review processes to ensure transparency about performance, effective manager leadership, and development of all employees

Analyze trends to develop solutions, programs, and policies

Conduct exit interviews and interpret results for management communications

Oversee policy administration and compliance with federal, state and local level agencies and legal guidelines

Provide performance management guidance to managers, including coaching, counseling, career development, and disciplinary actions

Assist employees or managers with employee relations issues, documentation, and remedial action

Evaluate and monitor existing training programs and conducts analyses for specific programs for client groups

Maintain current knowledge of federal, state, international and local legislation and regulations, assure programs are consistently administered in compliance with company policies and government legislation

Coordinate with employee(s) on FMLA leave and other LOA’s

FLSA audit and evaluation and recommends classification changes if needed

Such other activities as may be assigned by your manager


Qualifications/ Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in Business, preferably with HR emphasis/major or the equivalent combination of education and experience

8+ years of industry and/or relevant experience, in a professional service organization, typically with 2+ years in an AVP level role or external equivalent

SHRM preferred (“SPHR”)

Requires experience and considerable skill in all aspects of the HRBP function including: recruitment, job classification, benefits, compensation, performance management, and employee relations

Prior experience partnering with a HR Center of Excellence (COE) to drive key HR initiatives for business outcomes

Requires a strong knowledge of personnel policy and procedure and federal/state laws regarding employment practices and labor relations laws

Demonstrate the ability to adapt to a variety of issues with successful outcomes and demonstrate openness to new ideas and approaches

Excellent written, oral and organizational skills

Must have the ability to communicate effectively and tactfully with management and other levels within the organization

Must be detail oriented, organized, and be able to prioritize multiple tasks and personnel

Ability to keep information confidential

Ability to think strategically and set direction

Must know how to use MS Office Suite programs including Excel

Experience with Workday a plus

The annual full time base salary range for this role is
$130,000.00 - $160,000.00

Specific compensation is determined through interviews and a review of relevant education, experience, training, skills, geographic location and alignment with market data. Additionally, certain positions may be eligible to receive a discretionary bonus as determined by bonus program guidelines, position eligibility and SitusAMC Senior Management approval. SitusAMC offers PTO and paid holidays, the terms of which are set forth in the program policies. All full time employees also are eligible to participate in various benefit plans, including medical, dental, vision, life, disability insurance and 401K; in each case in accordance with the terms of the applicable plans.
