Volunteer Opportunity: Help Us Research Property Donations (No Experience Needed!)

MatchingDonors.com welcomes all volunteers for its opportunities, including individuals with F-1 status through Optional Practical Training (OPT) or Curricular Practical Training (CPT). Want to use your curiosity and internet skills to help save lives? MatchingDonors.com’s RealEstate4Kidneys.com program turns donated properties into funding for kidney transplants for people who urgently need them. We’re looking for volunteers to help us research and investigate properties that donors want to give to our nonprofit — and properties supporters think we should pursue. No real estate background required. If you can research online and like figuring things out, you can help. What You’ll Do • Look up basic information on properties people are interested in donating • Research publicly available details like ownership, location, taxes, zoning, and estimated value • Help identify potential red flags or issues (we’ll show you what to look for) • Organize your findings into simple summaries for our team • Support decisions that help turn property donations into life-saving kidney transplants What You Need • No prior experience required — we’ll guide you • Comfortable using the internet and public websites • Organized, curious, and willing to learn • Able to work independently and ask questions when needed Time Commitment • Flexible — work on your own schedule • A few hours a week (or more if you’d like) • 100% remote / work from anywhere Why This Matters Your research helps us decide which properties we can accept or pursue — and those decisions directly impact whether someone gets a kidney transplant.
