Position Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Administrative Assistant (Volunteer) to support core operational functions. This role is best suited for individuals with prior administrative experience who are comfortable working independently and contributing in a structured, professional environment.
This is a volunteer (unpaid), remote position.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage calendars, coordinate meetings, and document detailed meeting notes
• Support internal and external communications, including newsletters and outreach
• Assist with planning and coordination of events, workshops, and fundraising initiatives
• Maintain accurate records for donations, expenses, and program participation
• Prepare reports and administrative materials for leadership, grants, and stakeholders
• Perform general administrative tasks, including data entry and process organization
Required Qualifications (Applicants must meet all requirements)
• Minimum 3+ years of administrative experience (required)
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• High level of organization and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Reliable and consistent availability
Location Requirement
• Must be physically located within the United States (applications outside the U.S. will not be considered)
Commitment Expectations
• 5–10 hours per week
• Consistent weekly contribution required
• Minimum 3-month commitment preferred
