Bios is looking for personable, energetic and dedicated Vocational Support Specialist to join our team in the Tulsa area.
As a member of our Vocational team you will work under the supervision of a Lead Job Coach, Vocational Program Manager, & Area Director. A Vocational Support Specialist is responsible for the onsite training of individuals, daily Data input, quality control, monthly documentation and oral communication on a weekly basis with the Vocational Program Manager and/or Area Director.
Has the responsibility of following BIOS Policy and Procedures;
Β Providing onsite training to individuals as they are assigned by the Vocational Program Manager;
Β Entering and Documenting Time and Progress on the job via Therap and Paycom daily;
Β Maintaining good rapport with employers and providing quality control on a daily basis.
Β Completes Data related to professionals and Quarterly reports;
Β Communicating on a weekly basis with the Vocational Manager regarding programming issues;
Β Provides coverage for co-workers as needed;
Β Uses personal vehicle to transport supported people to and from work;
Β Creates a safe, and gentle learning environment by using person-centered skills;
Β Supporting people to develop relationships, create connections to increase opportunities;
Β Facilitates all aspects of the job by creating task analysis that lines out step by step instruction;
Β Responsible for up-dating person-centered descriptions and 1-page profiles as needed;
Β Provides on-site hands-on training and support in a variety of settings to ensure retention of job duties;
Β Maintaining current certification and maintaining the educational standards as directed by DHS/DDSD and the individual plan;
Qualifications:
Β Must be at least 18 years of age
Β Must have ability to bend, stoop, reach, and lift up to 50 pounds to provide services below
Β Must have good written and verbal communication skills
Β Must have valid driverΒs license and current auto insurance
Β Must have clear criminal history record
Β Must be drug free
Sign-On Bonus- $1000 bonus for Full-time and Part-time employees. The 2nd $1000 bonus opportunity will be offered after 6 months of employment. This incentive program will end at the end of 2024. Conditions may apply.
