Support VMWare Tanzu (Pivotal Cloud Foundry Platform). Administration, configuration of the platform.
Manage VMWare Tanzu services in a production environment to ensure high availability and reliability.
Set up administrator and service accounts, maintaining system documentation, tuning system performance, troubleshooting, installing system wide software and addressing mass storage space requirements.
Monitor and make recommendations for allocation of computing resources.
Assist support teams in troubleshooting issues.
Ensure that all PaaS Platform follow internally defined security and compliance controls

Development and Maintenance of Concourse Pipelines. Implement the continuous monitoring of VMWare Tanzu Platform using Splunk, Prometheus, Grafana and AWS Cloud watch.
Research new PCF components/releases, test and recommend or implement in co-ordination with development teams.

Gather new requirements for different modules, drawing out a plan for releases of the enhancements for the application requested by the users and planning work for subsequent releases. Provide administration support for existing VMWare Tanzu Platform.
15% - Learn and support other tools/AWS services in Platform (Like, APIGEE API Manager– AWS services like EKS, ELK, RDS. etc)
15% - Support Production and to be on call once every 7-10 weeks.What we are looking for-
Ability to work during the EST timezone.
Candidates will need to be Sr level (6-8 + years overall) with at least 2-4 years of PCF specific experience.
Someone who has worked in tandem with a Platform and infrastructure teams.
Should understand Microservice Architecture & Spring Boot framework.
Should be aware or know DevOps from a solutioning standpoint.
Should be able to independently evaluate products/services that would be deployed/integrated on/with the Platform
Need to have a strong scripting background (Shell, Groovy, Ansible, Terraform etc…)
Should understand at least basics of Database concepts/knowledge (how databases are involved within DevOps) like amazon RDS
Understanding of Cloud deployments in AWS, Networking understanding (Infrastructure as a Service) Preference: AWS
Should be willing to perform Production support work as On call Support
Understand and practice Agile development methodology
Willingness to do pair programming with other team members
