Job Description
Hybrid Role , Candidate must be local to CT
Provide server and related infrastructure support to the Client, which is implementing new laboratory information management systems and a new high-performance computing device for genomic sequencing work
ā¢ Installing, configuring, and maintaining server hardware and operating systems
ā¢ dministration and management of VMWare infrastructure like vSphere, vCenter, ESXi, and virtual machines.
ā¢ Managing user accounts, permissions, and access controls.
ā¢ Monitoring system performance, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring high availability.
ā¢ Implementing security measures, including backups, and data protection.
ā¢ Managing software updates, patches, and system upgrades.
ā¢ utomating administrative tasks and creating scripts for system management.
ā¢ Craft and implement network configurations and test plans
ā¢ Gathering and presenting System Performance Metrics
ā¢ Perform platform software upgrades and failover testing
ā¢ dministration of routers, switches, and other network equipment
ā¢ Perform audits as needed
ā¢ Work with IT teams in preparing platform enhancements and configurations
ā¢ Identify areas of the infrastructure for optimization
ā¢ Develop detailed architectural diagrams and procedure documents
