Visualization Specialist
WSP is a leading professional services firm seeking a Visualization Specialist for their Boise, Idaho office. The role involves developing 3D models and renderings to support project planning and delivery while ensuring effective participation in a virtual team environment.ResponsibilitiesDevelopment of 3D Models, renderings, and photo simulations to support project planning, design, and deliveryConsultation, development and clarification of complex, controversial and difficult to describe projectsPursuit of professional development to stay current with visualization technology and development of new communication toolsExperience self-managing tasks/projects and working within a scope, schedule, and budgetSkills1+ years of industry experience in engineering, visualization and related professional servicesBachelor's Degree in Art, Multimedia, Cinematography, Engineering, Architecture or related fieldFamiliarity with 3D software and modeling conceptsFamiliarity with Adobe PhotoshopAbility to read/understand engineering design plans and BIM/3D design specificationsUnderstanding of CADD applications (PLS-CADD, Autodesk AutoCAD & Revit, Bentley MicroStation)Understanding of lighting, color and perspectiveExercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources and conduct and adhere to WSP's Code of Conduct and related policies and proceduresProven track record of upholding workplace safety and ability to abide by WSP's health, safety and drug/alcohol and harassment policiesOccasional travel may be required depending on project-specific requirementsRelocation assistance is not available for this positionBenefitsCoverage related to medical, dental, vision, disability, and lifeRetirement savingsPaid sick leavePaid vacation (or other personal time)Paid parental leavePaid time off for purposes of bereavement, voting, and/or attendance at naturalization proceedingsCompany OverviewWe are one of the worldβs leading professional services firms, uniting our engineering, advisory and science-based expertise to shape communities to advance humanity.
