Visualization Engineer - Content & Studio
Job Description: • Build user experience and data visualizations for internal content reporting • Work on data storytelling products for Content, Marketing and Advertising teams • Rapidly iterate on designs based on user research and feedback • Partner closely with R&D teams to bring new metrics, models and data sources to Netflix Requirements: • Experience with Node.js • Front-end JavaScript (TypeScript encouraged) • Experience with a component framework like React or Vue.js • Knowledge of D3 or other visualization tools preferred • Self-directed and enjoy owning projects • Focused on making data useful to a wide variety of users • Knowledgeable about trade-offs between different chart types • Experience with design prototyping tools like Figma, Adobe XD or Sketch is a plus • Familiar with data from API endpoints and relational databases • Motivated to explore new technologies • Basic statistical knowledge and intuition Benefits: • Health Plans • Mental Health support • 401(k) Retirement Plan with employer match • Stock Option Program • Disability Programs • Health Savings and Flexible Spending Accounts • Family-forming benefits • Life and Serious Injury Benefits • Paid leave of absence programs • 35 days annually for paid time off • Flexible time off for full-time salaried employees Apply tot his job
