Virtual Tutor for Math or ELA
Overview: We are seeking a Virtual Tutor for Math or ELA to provide remote tutoring services to students in grades 3-8. As a Virtual Tutor, you will work with students across the nation to help them meet their educational goals and aspirations. Responsibilities: • Provide virtual tutoring sessions to students in grades 3-8 in Math or ELA • Create lesson plans tailored to students' ability... levels, learning styles, grade level, curriculum, and experiences • Provide training and/or assistance to ensure growth toward individual educational goals • Listen to and respond to the needs of students, parents/guardians, and school district • Assist students in developing and/or maintaining a structured study plan and improving self-confidence in the academic environment • Utilize state-specific core curriculum content standards in every tutoring session and document progress notes accordingly • Complete all mandated supervision and training, and maintain required records • Advocate for students in all situations • Possess bilingual abilities, if requested • Ability to work as a member of a team, complete tasks as instructed, and be receptive to new ideas • *Qualifications: • Teacher Credential Certification/Licensure as required by state or contract • Degree in Education or relevant field as required by state or contract • Experience in tutoring, preferred • 2 years teaching experience, preferred • Experience or credential in Special Education, preferred • Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice • Participation and completion of the Company's competency program when applicable • Current CPR, TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray, and Health certificate (as applicable) • *Benefits: • Competitive pay & weekly paychecks • Health, dental, vision, and life insurance • 401(k) savings plan • Awards and recognition programs • Opportunity to work with a leading staffing firm in the healthcare and education industries Check More Online Tutoring Jobs Apply tot his job Apply tot his job
