Duties • Prepare and file federal and state tax returns for individuals and businesses, ensuring compliance with all regulations. • Analyze financial information and provide insights to clients regarding their tax situations. • Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries and offering guidance on tax-related matters. • Conduct thorough reviews of financial documents to identify potential deductions and credits. • Collaborate with clients to gather necessary documentation for accurate tax filing. • Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance and maximize client benefits. • Assist in bookkeeping tasks as needed, maintaining accurate financial records throughout the year. Experience • Proven experience in professional tax preparation, public accounting, or corporate accounting is preferred. • Strong understanding of financial concepts, accounting principles, and tax regulations. • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data. • Strong math skills and familiarity with 10 key typing for efficient data entry. • Previous experience in sales or marketing is a plus, enhancing client engagement efforts. • Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on building long-term client relationships. • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
