General Responsibilities:
To provide academic assistance and remediation to students who were unable to master coursework during the regular school year in a virtual, synchronous platform.
Specific Duties: (Illustrative only; not all inclusive)
ā¢ Provides instruction in appropriate academic area.
ā¢ Provides instruction or remediation as necessary.
ā¢ Prepares lesson plans and makes optimum use of class time to meet stated objectives.
ā¢ Evaluates each pupil's performance, knowledge, and skills in academic area of responsibility.
ā¢ Maintains accurate and complete student records.
ā¢ Assists in the storage, maintenance and use of materials and property.
ā¢ Participates in planning and developing Program goals, objectives, curricula, and methods as requested.
ā¢ Communicates the needs and progress of participating students to each home district in a timely manner.
ā¢ Other duties as assigned by the Alternative Education Principal.
