Virtual Special Education Teacher - WY
A full-time Special Education Teacher position is available to provide telehealth services across Pre-K through 12th grade. This full school year contract role is based in Gillette, WY, requiring valid Wyoming teaching certification in Special Education.
Key responsibilities include:
ā¢ Delivering specialized educational instruction and support to students with diverse learning needs through telehealth platforms
ā¢ Designing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) in alignment with state guidelines
ā¢ Collaborating with families and educational teams to monitor student progress and adjust strategies accordingly
ā¢ Maintaining accurate records and documentation to support compliance and student growth
ā¢ Utilizing technology effectively to engage students in a virtual learning environment
Qualifications:
ā¢ Valid Wyoming teaching certification in Special Education
ā¢ Experience teaching Pre-K through 12th grade students with special needs
ā¢ Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a virtual setting
ā¢ Knowledge of telehealth delivery best practices preferred
