Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute effective online teaching strategies that cater to students with learning disabilities.
Create, update, and manage digital IEPs and personalized learning plans to meet each students unique needs.
Deliver specialized instruction in core academic areas, ensuring content is accessible and engaging.
Administer and interpret virtual assessments to monitor progress and adapt instruction as needed.
Work collaboratively with general education teachers to implement necessary accommodations and modifications.
Maintain regular and open communication with students and their families to support their educational journey.
Actively participate in professional learning communities and virtual staff meetings to enhance your teaching practice and contribute to team goals.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Special Education (Master's degree preferred).
Valid teaching license with an endorsement in learning disabilities.
At least 2 years of experience in special education.
Proficiency in assistive technology and virtual learning platforms.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Ability to adapt and differentiate instruction effectively in an online environment.
Patience and a strong commitment to fostering student success.
