Virtual Social Worker in MA
A school-based social worker is needed to provide telehealth services supporting students social and emotional well-being. This contract role is located in Cambridge, MA, serving the educational community remotely.
Key responsibilities include:
ā¢ Conducting individual and group telehealth counseling sessions with students
ā¢ Collaborating with school staff to develop intervention plans and support strategies
ā¢ Assessing students social, emotional, and behavioral needs through virtual meetings
ā¢ Maintaining documentation in compliance with school policies and confidentiality standards
ā¢ Connecting families with relevant community resources and support services
Desired qualifications:
ā¢ Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) with relevant licensure or certification
ā¢ Experience providing telehealth services in an educational setting
ā¢ Strong understanding of child and adolescent development and mental health issues
ā¢ Excellent communication skills and ability to engage effectively with youth and families remotely
ā¢ Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations governing school social work and telehealth
