Virtual Sign Language Interpreters Needed Full & Part-Time | Lincoln, NE
Join a passionate and student-centered virtual team! We’re seeking 3 experienced Sign Language Interpreters to provide remote ASL interpretation services for students in Lincoln, Nebraska for the 2025–2026 school year.
Open Positions:
• 2 Full-Time Roles:
• 37.5 hours/week
• Serving a mix of elementary and high school students (including 11th grade)
• 1 Part-Time Role:
• 10–12 hours/week
• Morning-only schedule (approx. 8:30AM–10:30AM)
• Tied to IEP service blocks for special education
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide real-time ASL interpretation services virtually for students during academic instruction
• Facilitate communication between students, teachers, and peers in a virtual learning environment
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to professional interpreting standards
• Support IEP implementation and adapt interpretation style to meet students’ communication needs
Compensation:
• Hourly Rate: $33
• Employment Type: 1099 Contract
Credential Requirements (Strictly Enforced):
• EIPA score of 4.0 or higher
• Passed EIPA Written Exam
