Virtual Science Tutor Grades 9-12
The Einstein Program is currently hiring an hourly a state-certified Virtual Science Tutor for Students in Grades 9-12. Our New York City based program thrives on a one-on-one learning environment that empowers students to take control of their studies. Daily contributions are made towards the most successful outcomes for our students who face a variety of challenges. This position requires teachers to take on 6 students per week with the opportunity for more. Please learn more about our program at www.einsteinprogram.org. Requirements: • Flexible schedule is a must. Must be available on weekdays (after 3pm EST) and weekends (if needed) • NYS Science Teaching Certification required • Experience teaching Biology and Earth Science a must • Familiar with NYS Next Generation Standards • Experience with Zoom as all lessons are virtual • 2-5 years’ experience preferred • At least 1-year virtual teaching experience • Build your own schedule Salary: $25 - $35 per diem rate Independent Contracted/1099 Position Fully Remote position References will be required upon request (3) Full Background Check Job Type: Part-time Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour Work Location: Remote Apply tot his job
