Virtual School Social Worker in MA
A contract opportunity is available for a skilled Social Worker specializing in telehealth services within a school setting. This role supports the mental health and well-being of students through remote counseling and intervention, ensuring accessible care tailored to individual needs.
Key Responsibilities:
ā¢ Deliver virtual social work services including assessment, counseling, and crisis intervention to students
ā¢ Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to develop comprehensive care plans
ā¢ Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to confidentiality and ethical guidelines
ā¢ Provide resources and referrals to community services as needed
ā¢ Participate in team meetings and professional development activities related to telehealth best practices
Desired Qualifications:
ā¢ Degree in Social Work (BSW, MSW) with state licensure or eligibility
ā¢ Experience providing telehealth or remote social work services, preferably within an educational environment
ā¢ Strong understanding of student developmental and psychosocial needs
ā¢ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective engagement with children, families, and school personnel
