Virtual School Psychologist | Rhode Island
A contract position is available for a licensed professional specializing in school psychology with telehealth capabilities. This role supports students' mental health and educational development through remote psychological services within a school setting.
Key responsibilities include:
ā¢ Conducting psychological assessments and evaluations via telehealth platforms
ā¢ Collaborating with educators, families, and caregivers to develop individualized support plans
ā¢ Providing counseling and intervention services tailored to student needs
ā¢ Monitoring student progress and adjusting strategies as necessary
ā¢ Maintaining accurate documentation and compliance with relevant laws and regulations
Qualifications and experience:
ā¢ Valid license as a School Psychologist
ā¢ Proven experience delivering psychological services through telehealth
ā¢ Strong knowledge of educational psychology principles and special education laws
ā¢ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with students, families, and staff remotely
ā¢ Ability to manage caseloads effectively in a virtual environment
