Virtual Medical Assistant for Chronic Care Management (Medical/Nursing Background Required)

We are seeking a Virtual Medical Assistant to support our Chronic Care Manager in a fast-paced, patient-centered neurology practice. This is a long-term, full-time position for a reliable, organized professional with a medical or nursing background—neurology experience is a plus. You’ll work closely with our team to help manage care for over 300+ chronic care patients, ensuring timely communication, accurate documentation, and exceptional coordination that directly impacts patient outcomes. Responsibilities: Handle incoming patient texts, emails, and documents Assist with referrals and occasional scheduling Maintain accurate and timely data entry in eClinicalWorks (eCW) EMR Communicate regularly with the Chronic Care Manager, remote team lead, and clinic staff Follow up on outstanding patient needs and documentation Support chronic care coordination through our CCM platform (training provided) Requirements: Medical or nursing experience (required) Experience in neurology (preferred) Familiarity with eClinicalWorks or similar EMR systems Strong organizational and communication skills Excellent attention to detail and consistent attendance Must be comfortable working independently while collaborating with a remote team Reliable hardware, including webcam for training Backups for power and internet in case of outages/inclement weather Schedule: Full-time: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM CST 30-minute unpaid lunch break Clinic closed for 6 major U.S. holidays This position reports to our remote team lead Why Join Us?
