Leasing & Underwriting Specialist (Remote – Latin America)

About the Role
We’re looking for a Leasing & Underwriting Specialist to join our U.S.-based property management team. This fully remote position supports leasing operations across multiple communities by reviewing tenant applications, verifying documentation, and preparing lease agreements. The ideal candidate is fluent in English, extremely detail-oriented, and confident reviewing documents and communicating with U.S.-based team members during standard business hours.
Key Responsibilities
• Screen tenant applications against company criteria to determine move-in eligibility. Verify employment, income, rental history, and identification documents. Evaluate applications and note approval conditions or required deposits. Communicate application outcomes clearly in English via email and internal systems. Process move-in requests from property and field teams. Prepare lease documents ensuring 100% accuracy before release. Confirm all required move-in funds are received before sending finalized leases. Keep organized, audit-ready files for all applicants and leases. Verify that all active promotions meet company standards. Ensure leasing documentation complies with internal policies and U.S. housing regulations. Report discrepancies or compliance concerns to management. Maintain accurate records and spreadsheets. Coordinate with leasing, accounting, and property management teams. Track and report progress, helping improve leasing workflows.
Qualifications
• Education: bachelor’s degree required. Experience: 1–3 years in leasing, property management, underwriting, or document review. Language: Fluent in English – spoken and written (required). Strong attention to detail and organization. Excellent written communication and grammar in English. Ability to meet deadlines while managing multiple applications. Comfortable with spreadsheets, cloud-based tools, and property management software. Professional, reliable, and proactive attitude.
Work Details
• Schedule: Full-time, Wednesday - Sunday – aligned with U.S. Central or Eastern Time Zone. Location: Remote – applicants must reside in Latin America or South America. Pay: USD $400–$500 per month (based on experience and qualifications).
