Virtual High School Spanish Teacher – Indiana Statewide Hoosier College and Career Academy The ideal candidate for the Virtual High School Spanish Teacher must be able to plan and coordinate Spanish I, II & III year classes according to the curriculum, work well with multi-grade and individual instruction. · It is possible this position might entail other teaching areas (i.e. PLTW; Math Specialist; etc.) if applicable. · Work collaboratively with other teachers, administrators, and staff. Other duties as assigned by the principal and/or Superintendent. · Foster positive student relationships in a technology rich classroom environment. · Provide students with engaging learning activities grounded in state/local standards. · Ensure ALL students are learning - provide enriched experiences and/or additional support to meet the needs of diverse learners. · Engage in the variety of extra and co-curricular activities available to promote school climate and opportunities for students. · Provides supervision of students in educational settings. · Plans daily classroom instructional activities. · Keeps daily student attendance. · Communicates with parents, teachers, administrators, and related service providers on an as needed basis.
