Virtual Event Moderator (escape rooms, murder mysteries, and more!)
Hiring virtual emcees and game masters for virtual escape rooms, murder mysteries, and trivia events! The right candidate will have a friendly, outgoing personality and will LOVE games! We are specifically looking for people with a lot of availability to work in December leading up to the holidays. INSTRUCTIONS TO APPLY BELOW. Requirements: Quiet workspace, fast internet connection (type internet speed test into google to run a test), and a computer with at least 4-8GB of memory. How online escape rooms work: Players work together on zoom to solve puzzles for codes. Each time they figure out a code, they give it to the game master (you!) and if it's correct, the game master advances them to the next puzzle. The goal is the be the first team to finish. It's SO MUCH FUN. How virtual trivia works: The game master reads out a series of rapid-fire questions that players must answer correctly. Game masters work in a spreadsheet to tally scores and keep their teams engaged and moving! What the game master will do: The game master is live throughout the game and is responsible for showing videos, providing puzzles, and offering hints and help as needed. Training will be provided. The most important part of the job is engaging with participants and making sure everyone has a blast! Each game is 60-90 minutes including instructions and wrap up. 90% of the games are 60 minutes, but sometimes they start late, etc. Times: Work is scheduled by game time slot. We schedule you based on the availability you provide. Pay starts at $15 per hour. Some weeks you will work a lot, some less, it all depends on what slots we have to offer and what you have going on that week. We are absolutely passionate about what we do!
